Description
18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with firmly-pressed and oil-painted facial features and brown hair with detailed forelock curls onto forehead and sides of face, painted dark blue/grey eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, stitch-jointed arms, disc-jointed legs. Condition: head is excellent, body has some spotting under costume. Marks: 107347 (stamp on foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, the second period of Type I model, circa 1935. Value Points: fine detail of painting of hair, the little girl wears antique costume, pinafore, undergarments, shoes and socks, and cloth bonnet cap.
