Description
4 1/2" shoulder width. 15" hips. 11" overall
length. Lightweight maroon wool with fitted yoke
beneath a very wide Bertha collar that extends
entirely around the back,dropped-waist with
blouson styling,pleated skirt,pouf sleeves with
bands. The dress is decorated with rows of narrow
black velvet on the collar and cuffs,applique
cotton lace on the collar,and a black silk sash
with large back bow. Circa 1895.
