Description
7" shoulder width. 18" waist. 23" overall length.
A child's
costume suitable for costuming larger doll,is of
very delicate
cotton with faintly printed narrow rose and cream
stripes and a
patterned rose-petal design. The rounded neckline
and pouf
sleeves have strings en coulisse for adjustable
fit,and there is a
1" band of ruching above the set-in waistband. The
full
gathered skirt gains shape from the very narrow
cartridge pleats
just below the waist band. Circa 1860.
