Description
5" shoulder width. 12" waist. 13' overall length.
Green silk taffeta plaid dress with dart-fitted
bodice and dropped waist has modified pagoda-style
sleeve with box-pleats at the shoulders,and a
gathered skirt below a self ruffle. The dress is
decorated with narrow velvet bands at the rounded
neckline that are repeated at the wrists,and an
attached wide green velvet sash with large back
bow. There is an accompanying bonnet with wide
green velvet brim and ivory floral-patterned silk
faille crown. Circa 1890.
