14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, French composition and wooden lady body with shapely bosom and tiny waist. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1159 Germany Halbig S&H 5. Comments: the doll was presented by SFBJ, circa 1910, with bisque head commissioned from Simon and Halbig and on original French lady body. Value Points: wonderful lady doll is all original, wearing her elaborate traditional folklore costume from the Pyrenees region of France.
