Description
4" shoulder width. 10" overall length. Of pale
rose cotton,the princess-style dress has coat
sleeves,wide collar with square-shaped back,a row
of box-pleats that extends entirely around the
lower skirt,dart-shaped back torso,and attached
wide all-around hip sash. The dress has hook and
eye closures under tiny decorative red buttons.
There is a lace ruffle at the neckline and
cuffs,and borders of scalloped-edge braid in
colorful red,white and blue edge the
collar,sleeves,sash,and hem. There is a stain in
mid-front torso. Circa 1882.
