Description
4" inside head width. A pale-white ivory bonnet is
given shape by a hidden wire frame and buckram
lining. The bonnet back is lavishly draped and has
a lace-laden bavolet. Textured ivory silk ribbons
are draped around the sides and form large bows at
the crown and nape. There is a cluster of small
white silk leaves at the crown,and the face is
framed by three most delicate tulle ruffles with
lace edging. Circa 1885.
