4" shoulder width. 8" waist. 11" overall length.
Of a delicate shadow pane design in mauve and
cream silk. the one-piece gown features a rounded
neckline,pouf sleeves with sleeve-bands,wide
bretelles that virtually hide the sleeves,fitted
bodice and a very full tightly-gathered skirt. The
gown is decorated in a simple yet elegant manner
with looped mauve silk cording arranged in
irregular lengths. Circa1860.
