Description
5" shoulder width. 10" waist. 17" overall length.
The one-piece fitted gown of fine lustrous cotton
with woven design features dart-shaping at front
and back,set-in hidden waist,dark-shaped fullness
at the back hips,coat sleeves with wide cuffs,nine
pearl buttons with hand-made button holes,and a
band of alternating wide and narrow pleats at the
hem framed by a row of cotton torchon lace. Circa
1870.
