Description
8" shoulder width. 19" overall length. A white
cotton dress with a rounded collar and sleevelets
formed of broderie anglaise,has a dropped waist
with burgundy silk faille sash,and an inset bodice
panel with three vertical rows of broderie
anglaise,above a gathered skirt whose lower 6" is
form of broderie anglaise with a variant
pattern,this one of an 8-petaled flower. There are
hidden buttons at the back. Along with a superb
brown velvet bonnet with brown satin ruching on
the inner brim,and long burgundy silk faille
streamers. Circa 1880.
