6" (17 cm.) x 4 ". Within a burled mahogany frame
with chamfered corners and gilded inner border is
an oil-painting of a woman in semi-profile,having
elaborately sculpted grey hair,painted brown
eyes,and wearing an richly draped fichu.
Anonymous,early 19th century. Excellent
condition,some age craquelure.
