12" (30 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head of adult lady
with oval-face,elongated throat,black sculpted
hair with center-part drawn smoothly around her
face and into tight coil at the back of her
head,cobalt blue glass eyes,painted lashes,lightly
feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth
with upturned lip corners,shapely hand-stitched
kid body in the French style,antique costume.
Condition: large chunk missing from right side of
shoulder plate. Comments: circa 1860,maker
unknown. Value Points: very expressive early model
with dramatic blue glass eyes,painted lashes
