Description
5" (13 cm.) x 4". Delicately drawn pastel profile
of a woman with ringlet curls at the side of her
face and the remainder of her hair captured in a
neat white bonnet that ties under her chin in a
generous bow. She is wearing a fitted-waist gown
of the 1850 era with draped fichu and small
brooch. Unsigned,framer"s label on reverse.
Excellent condition. American,mid-19th century.
