12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,slightly rounded facial modeling,cobalt blue glass eyes,painted dark curly lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent line,and fully sculpted ears. She has her original muslin body with bisque lower arms and legs,painted brown ankle boots,and is wearing an antique aqua silk gown and undergarments. Her light brown ("cafe-au-lait") hair is arranged in a center-part and waved in generous full loops away from her face to form two very large and loosely woven braids that cover the complete back of her head; a green bow decorates her crown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1875. Value Points: rarity factors include swivel neck,blue glass eyes,brown hair and green ribbon.
