Description
8 " (22 cm.) Thick paste porcelain shoulder head
with pink-tinted complexion,the head tilted
sideways,painted very narrow blue painted eyes
with black outline,thick stroke brows,and closed
mouth. She has a muslin body with bisque limbs and
nice antique costume. Her grey hair with shaded
details is pulled into a topknot chignon with pink
head band and little "run-away" curl that tumbles
onto her shoulders. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: attributed to French
production,circa 1870. Value Points: rare model
with very endearing expression and distinctive
facial painting.
