Description
18" (46 cm.) Untinted bisque shoulder head
portraying adult lady with very slender oval
face,elongated throat,painted blue eyes with
decorative glaze,red and black upper
eyeliner,heavily modeled eyelids,blonde feathered
brows,aquiline nose,tiny closed mouth,and blushed
cheeks. Her sculpted blonde hair is drawn away
from her face in very full waves and forming at

decorated with so-called Dresden-style magenta and
pink rose petals,green leaves,and a garland of
large gold beads which begins at each side of the
forehead and extends entirely around her head
waving over the coiled bun. She has a new later
muslin body with original bisque arms and
legs, painted flat black shoes, and is nicely
dressed in an antique style rose cotton sateen
gown. Condition: generally excellent,some typical
chips to flower petals and leaves. Comments:
attributed to Dornheim,Koch & Fischer,circa 1870.
Value Points: rare model with regal
presence,unique hair ornamentation.
