Description
13" (33 cm.) Paper-Mache shoulder head with
rounded facial shape,black glass inset
eyes,lightly painted lashes,single-stroke
brows,and tiny closed mouth. She has a slender kid
body with wooden lower arms and legs,painted red
shoes,and is wearing an antique gown and
undergarments. Her black sculpted hair is in short
tousled curls overall,waved behind the ears.
Condition: original finish with craquelure on
front shoulder-plate,and slight paint rub on nose.
Comments: Germany,circa 1850. Value Points: rare
glass eyes,original finish with extra detail of
painted "run-away" curls on forehead,original body
and costume.
