She has sculpted hair in a unique blonde/brown shading that is center-parted,waved away from face with stippled detailing around the forehead, and arranged in an extended braid that is very wide at her nape, and wraps around her head so that it forms three tiers at the crown; there is a blue ribbon and bow at the back of her head and is intertwined in the braids at the crown. Condition: generally excellent, one bisque leg reglued. Comments: attributed to Alt,Beck and Gottschalck, circa 1880. Value Points: the rare coiffure with interwoven ribbons is enhanced by unusual shading of hair color.
