Description
11" (28 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head,painted blue
eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke
black brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with
defined space between the lips. She has a muslin
stitch-jointed body with porcelain limbs,flat
black shoes,and is wearing a lovely antique
costume. Her sculpted black hair is arranged with
center-part,one long finger curl behind each
sculpted ear,and a three-tiered chignon at the
nape,then decorated by a gilded magenta coronet.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Germany,circa 1875. Value Points: beautiful detail
of rare coiffure and decoration.
