10" (25 cm.) Bisque shoulder head portraying adult
lady with slender face and elongated
throat,painted bright blue eyes,red and black
upper eyeliner,feathered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with accent line and blushed
cheeks. She has her original muslin stitch-jointed
body with bisque lower limbs,painted flat black
shoes,and is wearing an antique brown linen
ensemble. Her blonde sculpted hair is waved around
the sides of her face and captured in a sculpted
green snood with purple lustre tasseled scarf and
white lustre plume. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Germany,attributed to
Alt,Beck and Gottschalck,circa 1870. Value Points:
rare model is particularly charming in this petite
size with superb detail of hair ornamentation.
