14" (36 cm.) Paper-mache shoulder head with
rounded facial modeling,painted pale blue upper
glancing eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed mouth,modeled
bosom,slender kid body with wooden limbs,painted
yellow shoes,and wearing an early cotton print
blouse and skirt. Her sculpted black hair in
arranged in wide pouf curls at the sides,and
smoothly drawn up at the back of her head into a
tightly woven beehive-shaped coronet. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1850.
Value Points: fine original finish on the rare
coiffure lady,modeled bosom,sturdy body.
