Description
13" (33 cm.) x 11" frame. Set within a gilded
wooden oval frame is a gouache with pastel
background,depicting a young girl with short
delicate blonde curls,wearing a sky-blue
dress,seated upon a woven chair. Posed on the
carpet beneath the chair is a wicker basket of
flowers and a doll. The image is signed "J.
Willman 1866". The frame reverse has original
framer"s label "Carl Brassart Vergolder
Stuttgart". Excellent condition.
