Description
17" (43 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with
oval-shaped-face and elongated throat has very
pale untinted complexion,painted blue eyes in
well-defined sockets with encircling red
eyeliner,brown feathered brows,aquiline nose with
slightly upturned lip,closed mouth with very full
lips,Her brown sculpted hair has loosely formed
braids at each side that are casually drawn back
and captured in a tightly coiled braided chignon
at the back. She has an early muslin body with
porcelain lower limbs,painted black ankle boots,is
wearing a fine antique dotted Swiss muslin
gown,and also owns an early cotton print day
dress. Condition: generally excellent,few typical
paint rubs on hair. Marks: KPM (blue circle stamp
inside shoulder plate). Comments: KPM Berlin,circa
1850. Value Points: fine detail of sculpting,her
rare brown hair,richly formed lips,and defined
eyes create an entrancing look on the rare model.
