19" (48 cm.) h. 17"l. 12"w. Of fine polished mahogany, the high canopied bed has carved footboard centering the two columns; the high wooden canopy features ogee-shaping with acorn drops at each side, and the bed is fitted with original wooden slats, mattress, linens, and blue taffeta bed cover and drapes. Excellent condition. Circa 1870, likely originating from the hands of a fine cabinet-maker of maitrise quality.
