Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque shoulder head depicting an
adult lady with heart-shaped face and elongated
throat,cobalt blue glass eyes,dark encircling eye
liner,painted lashes,feathered brows,black and red
upper eyeliner,nicely shaped nose,closed mouth
with slightly downcast lips,partially sculpted
pierced ears,later muslin body and bisque
arms,wearing blue velvet and silk striped gown and
undergarments. Her blonde sculpted hair is
elaborately arranged with casual forehead
curls,brushed back at the sides,voluptuous curls
high on crown that fall to form finger curls
framing the face,and various looped and finger
curls,braids and buns at the back of the head.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 14.

Dolls by Mary Krombholz. Value Points: rarity
factors include brilliant glass eyes with dreamy
look,pierced ears,and very elaborate coiffure. The
doll won a blue ribbon at the 1992 San Francisco
UFDC convention with notation _best example in the
category_,and again in 1994.
