14" (36 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with modeled bosom,pale complexion,oval-shaped face with full cheeks and chin,elongated throat,light brown sculpted hair arranged away from face in horizontal rolled curls in a very voluptuous manner,and terminating in a double roll a the back of head fastened with sculpted pin. Her ear tips peek from beneath her hair,and there is a sculpted posy of white flowers at the left side of her head. She has grey down-glancing eyes,red and black eyeliner,feathered brows,accented nostrils of aquiline nose and closed mouth. She has a muslin body with porcelain lower legs and Kister porcelain lower arms with expressive fingers,and a lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to A.W. Fr. Kister,circa 1890. Value Points: regal expression with finely appointed features,rare coiffure with sculpted flowers.
