13" (33 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with very thick paste and slightly tinted complexion,slender oval face,elongated throat,painted blue eyes,sculpted eyelids,black upper eyeliner,thick brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with well-defined accented lips. Her rich brown sculpted hair with center-part is smoothly drawn around her face and looped backward,exposing the ear tips,into a tightly coiled braided chignon. She has an early muslin body with porcelain limbs,painted black ankle boots,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1840. Value Points: rare Queen Victorian style coiffure is exceptionally rare in this rich brown color,few examples are known to exist.
