Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with oval facial
shape and elongated throat,cobalt blue glass
eyes,dark encircling eyeliner,lightly painted
lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with center accent line,fully
sculpted pierced ears,original muslin body with
bisque lower limbs,painted blue ankle boots with
black tips and heels,and wearing factory original
muslin dress with aqua ribbons and lace. She has a
sculpted gold bead necklace,and her blonde
sculpted hair is arranged in a center-part with
five vertical finger curls onto her forehead at
each side of the part,the remainder of her hair
combed back and secured by a trio of sculpted blue
hair ribbons,with a double row of finger curls
below the bottom ribbon. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Alt,Beck and
Gottschalck,circa 1870. Value Points: very
beautiful presence of the all original doll with
wonderful coiffure,glass eyes,necklace,original
body and costume,a blue ribbon award winner in
1973 UFDC competition.
