Description
18" (46 cm.) Un-tinted bisque shoulder head
depicting an adult lady with elongated face and
throat,painted large blue eyes with shading
detail,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke
brown brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with
accent line between the shaded lips,and fully
sculpted ears. She has an early muslin
stitch-jointed body with leather arms,and is
wearing a fine antique ivory satin gown and
undergarments. Her light brown hair has
center-part with three wavy horizontal curls that
terminate in finger curls at their tips and
continue into rows of finger curls that extend
above and behind her ears in graduated tiers and
are decorated below each ear with a single flower.
There is a loose thick braid at her crown,and at
the back of her head,eight horizontal curls on
each side center an elaborately arranged braided
oval that is surmounted by a green ribbon band.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (illegible
numbers/marks inside shoulderplate). Comments:

featured in Identifying German Parian Dolls by
Mary Krombholz. Value Points: extremely rare model
with superb detail of hair sculpting,rare design
and color of coiffure.
