Description
20" (51 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with very light tinted complexion depicting an adult lady with strong elongated throat, modeled bosom, head turned slightly to the side, painted grey side-glancing eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, grey feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with suggestion of smile, painted teeth, and partially sculpted ears with blushed detail. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Kister blue mark). Comments: A.W. Fr. Kister, successor to Dressel and Kister, circa 1890. Value Points: very rare doll in grand size for this firm, having superb detail of hair design and finest quality porcelain and painting.
