Regina, style 11,American,circa 1898. From 1892 Regina manufactured from rented facilities in Jersey City, but by 1895 they had resettled in their own factory facilities in Rahway,New Jersey. The brick building where this example was built is still standing, facing the Rahway train station which facilitated the shipment of the pieces during their heyday. Regina promoted their brand as "The Queen of Music Boxes" and maintained sales shops in New York and Chicago, but they also sold their products through department stores, such as John Wanamaker in Philadelphia.
