12" h. largest. An exceptional collection of die-cut and embossed cards with extravagant tissue-
paper fold-outs in various lantern,column and heart shapes,each enhanced with applique scrap
of cherubs,children,design elements,and little romantic messages,and including a Raphael Tuck
card that opens to a honeycomb hot air balloon surrounded by hearts and blue birds. Most are
signed Germany or USA. Very good to excellent condition,some are inscribed. Late 19th century.
