15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with flat-cut neck socket designed to accommodate torso neck dowel,grey glass inset eyes with spiral threading,painted lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent line between lips,unpierced ears,blonde mohair wig,composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with unique neck dowel,tiny ankles,straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Grossman,who registered his body design in 1882. Value Points: rare doll with unique construction,very beautiful face with delicate pale bisque.
