15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head,painted facial features,pale blue eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,short-feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth modeled as
though open,row of sculpted teeth,outlined lips,brunette mohair bobbed wig over plaster
pate,composition and wooden ball-jointed body,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: made in Germany 185 6 1/2 7 1/2 (head) Germany 0 1/2 (body). Comments:
Kestner,circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque and painting enhance the
image of shy smiling child,original body and body finish.
