17" (43 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket and matching bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils closed mouth with center accent line, blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, softly-stuffed kid body with kid-over-wooden upper arms and bisque forearms to above the elbow, curled fingers, wooden cup and ball jointing at the knees to allow the doll seating possibilities. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Leontine Rohmer, the doll has neck pivot depose of 1858 and seated depose of 1857. Value Points: the beauty of the doll is rivaled by her rare articulations, lovely antique costume including wonderful cream kidskin laced boots.
