12" (30 cm.) Each has composition socket head,painted facial features,blue side-glancing
eyes,painted curly upper lashes,"O" shaped closed mouth,jointed arms and legs. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Harriet Flanders. c. 1937 (doll) A Genuine Georgene Doll (original
paper label with stamp "Ski-boy",on boy). Comments: designed by Harriet Flanders for
Averill,each doll was originally sold in box with illustrations and poem by Flanders,circa 1937.
Value Points: in original costumes,in unplayed with condition,the boy as skier,the girl as skater
and having yellow yarn hair and felt bonnet with applique daisy.
