12" (30 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,extra articulation of the neck allowing head to tilt forward and lean side to side (as well as swivel),cobalt blue glass eyes,painted lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with very pale accented lips,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig in original coiffure,kid poupee body with shapely torso,gusset-jointing of knees,beautifully costumed in cut-work cotton day dress,undergarments,original leather shoes with brown silk bows. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Alexandre Dehors who deposed the neck articulation system in 1866. Value Points: very dear petite poupee with beautiful bisque and eyes,rare articulation,lovely costume.
