21" (53 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head,almond shaped brown glass enamel inset eyes,thick
dark eyeliner,delicately painted curly lashes,feathered brows,mauve blushed eye
shadow,brush-stroked brows,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between the
shaded and outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French composition
and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent,two fingers need repair. Marks:
J. (symbol) M. Comments: Mothereau,circa 1882,the significance of the marked symbol
remains a mystery,yet seems to designates the doll as the rarest of the Mothereau bebes and
of deluxe quality. Value Points: splendid beauty with refined slender nose,chin tip,fine pale
bisque with artistic blushing,original body,superb antique magenta silk satin costume with
lace trim,velvet bonnet,undergarments,shoes,socks. The doll is shown in Wendy and Friends
