17" (43 cm.) All felt doll with center-seam face,pressed facial features,black bead eyes,stitched
ears,mohair fleecy wig and moustache,plump torso and slender elongated limbs with sewn-on
costume comprising yellow vest,green felt jacket with braid and brass buttons,spats,leather
shoes. Condition: good,some dust,extensive moth wear on green jacket tails. Comments:
Steiff,circa 1910. Value Points: appealing caricature of prosperous burgermeister in the rare
early Steiff doll
