9" (23 cm.) Rich brown bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,black glass inset
eyes,painted lashes and brows,slightly parted coral lips,row of tiny porcelain teeth,pierced
ears,black fleecy wig,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with modeled bent elbows,cupped
hands,very shapely legs with tiny ankles,bare feet,wearing frail silk costume that may be original.
Condition: hairlines at forehead and throat,chips at all peg holes. Marks: 12 (head). Comments:
Kestner,circa 1885. Value Points: extremely rare black-complexioned doll,having very beautiful
complexion and facial modeling,bare feet.
