12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head depicting a laughing child,painted facial features,narrow blue
intaglio eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,feathered brows,accented eye corners,unusually
shaped crooked nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth modeled as though open with row of
painted teeth and defined tongue tip,brunette mohair wig,composition and wooden fully-jointed
body,antique school girl costume,roller skates. Condition: generally excellent,some body
retouch. Marks: W 142. Comments: attributed to Ernst Winkler,circa 1910,an original Winkler

Value Points: very rare character doll with delightful and distinctive expression,fine quality of
