18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with solid dome,amber tinted complexion,painted black baby
hair with stippling detail around the forehead,small brown glass sleep eyes in half-moon
shape,painted black curly lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,open
mouth,shaded and outlined lips,amber tinted composition baby body,nicely costumed in
embroidered silk costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JDK Made in Germany 14.
Comments: Kestner,circa 1912. Value Points: the very rare painted hair version of Kestner's 243
model,having beautifully painted hair,expressive features,original body and body finish.
