11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head,painted facial features,small brown eyes slightly side-
glancing,black and incised upper eyeliner,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth,accented lips,blonde mohair wig over plaster pate,composition and wooden ball-jointed
body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 178. Comments: Kestner,circa 1912,the model was
made with both painted and glass eyes. Value Points: rare art character model whose realistic
downcast expression is enhanced by finest bisque and painting,original body and body
finish,antique costume.
