15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with elongated facial modeling,blue glass paperweight inset
eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows,elongated nose with
rounded tip,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with center accent framed by lip dimples,pierced
ears,blonde mohair wig,French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent,body not original but appropriate and of the period. Marks: F.R. 5 (head). Comments:
Falck & Roussel,circa 1890,the short-lived firm created few dolls of this quality,rendering them
quite rare. Value Points: beautiful wide-eyed expression on the long-faced model,lovely antique
silk costume with Alencon lace collar,woven bonnet.
