illustrations depicting scenes of children re-creating scenes of the American Revolution; and 11"
x 9" Make-Believe Men and Women,along with Elizabeth Tucker,published by Frederick
Stokes,1897,with six color illustrations depicting children in playing grown-up scenes. Each
color illustration,along with many black and white illustrations and decorations,is drawn by Maud
Humphrey. Very good/excellent condition. An outstanding trio of beautifully designed early
books.
