12" (30 cm.) Solid domed paper mache shoulder head with plump facial shape,blue enamel glass
eyes,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with
downcast pouty expression,blushed cheeks,blonde mohair wig,kid body with gusset-jointed
hips and knees,paper mache lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Schilling stamp
on back shoulder plate). Comments: Schilling,circa 1880. Value Points: in near pristine original
condition,with original wig,blue hair ribbons,blue socks,leather shoes with silver buckles,original
fine muslin chemise with embroidered flowers and having Schilling stamp on front,and preserved
in original labeled box.
