curls onto the forehead,stitched on ears,large painted brown eyes with thickly painted black
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with shaded lips,stitch-jointed body with
oil-painted arms and legs,bare feet,cotton baby dress,undergarments. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Mrs. S.S. Smith,Patented September 26,19 No 3 (body stamp). Comments: Ella
Smith's Alabama Baby,circa 1910. Value Points: wonderful facial painting with entrancing large
brown eyes,original finish is well preserved on the rarer bare-foot model.
