30" (76 cm.) All muslin cloth doll with flat-dimensional face,painted facial features,large brown eyes with red outline and upper liner,large black upper glancing pupils with white eyedots,two-tone shaded eye white,lightly feathered brows,outlined nose,closed mouth with accent line between the heart-shaped lips,blushed cheeks,curly mohair tendrils peek from beneath sides of bonnet (bald back of head),stitch-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,fine antique cotton dress,undergarments,bonnet,leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Babyland Rag,the doll first appeared in 1893 from Horsman; in 1904 R.H. Macy distributed the doll in four sizes,30" being the largest (12",15" and 18" the other sizes). Value Points: very rare size of the sought after doll in wonderfully preserved original condition.
