All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial complexion and features,blue eyes,black upper eyeliner,white eyedots,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils of rounded nose,closed mouth with full lips,brunette mohair bobbed wig,muslin body with stitch-jointed shoulders and hips,costume may be original. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kamkins,created by Louis Kampes,sold at his studio in Atlantic City,circa 1930. Value Points: rare to find American doll designed to depict the "modern" 1930s child,retains fine original finish,wig.
