10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head with large rounded face, blue glass googly eyes, short painted lashes, one-stroke brows, tiny button-shaped nose, short one-line closed mouth, impish smile, blonde mohair wig, composition toddler body with plump tummy, jointing at shoulders and hips, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 241 0. Comments: Armand Marseille, circa 1917. Value Points: the rarity of the googly is complemented by his delightful expression, fine quality of bisque, original body and body finish.
